Our partnership with Novartis marked the first time we used interactive electronics in an activity. This innovation was crucial to the field marketing campaigns because sampling the actual medicinal products wasn’t allowed, not to mention it being expensive.
For the Voltaren gel, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug for joint relief, we used a Wii tennis game (tennis being a sports that can cause joint pain) and incorporated it into our mobile stand mounted inside an SUV. We targeted university students & sports venues.
The interactive gaming concept proved to be a hit among our targets because it entertained them during breaks, while our promoters went about their work.
